My Reading Life
What I'm reading this week
I just started Trigger Warning by Neil Gaiman (I received a copy from Book Club Girls!) and this is first time reading him, he's been on my to read list for awhile but I just hadn't gotten around to actually picking up any of his works. So I thought a book of short stories would be a good place to start and I am enjoying it so far. I really enjoyed his introduction and his discussion of the origin of the title. I'll let you know more next week.
My Literary Adventures group will be discussing Carson McCullers and her body of work, so I'm trying to read some more of her works. I've read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Member of the Wedding and The Ballad of the Sad Cafe years ago. So this week I'm starting on Clock Without Hands.
What I'm most looking forward to
Those of you who know me know how much I love everything Toni Morrison writes, so it's no surprise that I am waiting with baited breath for her new novel, God Help the Child. It's set to be released on Tuesday, April 21st, 2015. I'll be anxiously awaiting the mailman for my copy.
What the book club is reading
